Columbus Elementary School Physical Education Coach, Heath Perry, had his hands full with the All-School Elementary Track and Field Meet Friday at Central School. Students in K-6 and teachers competed in various events from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Baxter Springs Lions swept the field taking four of the top five spots on the leader board in the Girard Invitational Golf Tournament, Tuesday, at the Crawford Hills Golf Course in Girard. Cole Parrish, sophomore, shot a one over par, 73 on the course to earn the individual title and lead the Lions to the team championship.
