Levi Simpson, Columbus Titan Junior and freshman, Jace Gaither captured CNC League Championships in the 800 Meter Run and the Discus at the league meet, Thursday, in Girard.Levi ran a time of 2:01.51 minutes to win the 800 Meter Run, about six seconds faster than the second place racer.

3A Softball Regional begins today for CUHS

The Kansas Class 3A Softball Regional Tournament begins today.The Columbus Lady Titans (8-14) are seeded 12 in their bracket and will travel to Wellsville (14-7) the number five seed for their quarterfinal matchup. The game will start at 4:50 p.m.

The Baxter Springs Lions swept the field taking four of the top five spots on the leader board in the Girard Invitational Golf Tournament, Tuesday, at the Crawford Hills Golf Course in Girard.

The event had been postponed and was a make-up for the CNC League Teams. Team members with Head Coach Art Roberts are Gunnar Conrad, Colt McCoy, Ethan McCoy, Josh Beeler, Landon Atiknson, and Cole Parrish.

Titan Senior Golfers hosted the Columbus Invitational CNC Tournament, Thursday at the Brush Creek Golf Course. Titans participating the final tournament on their home course are Zane Gray, Lemmie Stone, and Hunter Ruddick. The final CNC League regulars season tournament is Wednesday, hosted by Galena.
