Andrews on Dean’s List

MidAmerica Nazarene University announced its President’s List, Dean’s List and Honor Roll for the spring 2026 semester. A total of 447 students qualified for one of the honors. Makenna Andrews from Columbus has been named to the Dean’s List.

Facts about Polish traditions

Seventh grade students in Mashea Shutlz’ English and Language Arts class completed research papers based on cultures described in books they read. Those papers are being printed in the Columbus News Report.

E-Sports team visits Baxter Springs Chapter BT PEO meeting

E-Sports were the topic at the recent Chapter BT of International P.E.O. meeting April 6 in Baxter Springs.Ross Davis from Baxter High School shared information about the ESports program. This is the third year for the program at the high school. Seventeen students participate.
