Two musical performances are planned by Baxter Springs High School. Friday, November 12 and Saturday, November 13 at 7 p.m. the Baxter Springs High School Theatre Department will be performing the hit show, “Legally Blonde, The Musical.” The show is enjoyable for all ages but, has a PG-13 rating.

Honor and respect were both recently paid to the nation’s bravest heroes. Two Cherokee County cities played host to parades over the weekend in observance of Veterans Day. Crowds lined up and down both Main Street in Galena and Military Avenue in Baxter Springs on the cold Saturday morning.
