Lady Titan Senior, Jailyn Rodriguez was recognized during Senior Night Ceremonies, Friday, at Rockette Field. Jailyn played softball three years after losing her freshman season to the Covid lock down. She was escorted by her parents, Kevin and Amanda Rodriguez.
Lady Titan Sophomore, Katy Mooney, hit a home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to put Columbus on top 3-2. But a big seventh inning for the Lady Raiders gave them the 7-3 win in the first game of the CNC League double header, Friday, at Rockette Field. Columbus won game two in a walk-off, 6-5, to earn a share of the CNC League Title.
Lady Titan Seniors, Aubree Saporito and Addison Saporito, were recognized during Senior Night Ceremonies, Friday, at Rockette Field. The senior duo have played three seasons for their mother, Lady Titan Head Coach Aimee Saporito, missing their freshman year due to Covid. They were escorted by their parents, Aimee and Chad Saporito.
The Columbus Lady Titan Softball Team split their final CNC League, Senior Night double header with Frontenac, Friday, at Rockette Field. The split earned a share of the 2023 CNC League Title for the reigning 2022 League Champions.
Lady Titan Senior, Aubree Saporito, suffered the loss in the circle for Columbus in the 7-3, game one defeat.
Junior, Graci Major, earned the, 6-5, win in game two.
