The Columbus Lady Titans celebrate after receiving their Kansas Class 3A Regional Championship plaque, Wednesday, at Rockette Field in the Columbus Community Field Ballpark. The Lady Titans are seeded third in the Kansas Class 3A State Tournament in Manhattan and will play the 7 p.m. quarterfinal game, Thursday, against Rossville (17-4), the sixth seed. The tournament is being hosted at the Twin Oaks Complex.
The Columbus Lady Titans will take the field, Thursday, to represent Columbus Unified High School and their community in the Kansas Class 3A State Softball Tournament, their first appearance since their back-to-back trips in 1998 and 1999.
