The Lady Titan Varsity Golf Team opened their season on the Oswego Golf Course for the Labette County High School Tournament, Tuesday. The Columbus Team placed third after losing a tie breaker to Chanute. Lady Titan Senior, Reese Grundy, placed second and junior, Mallory Thompson, took top medalist in the SEK League dominate field. Paige Patton, Natalie Wary and Avery Neely, added their scores to the team total.
The Lady Titan Golf Team were finally able to dodge the heat and get on the links for the Labette County High School varsity tournament, Tuesday, in Oswego. Columbus took home third in a SEK League dominate event after losing the second place tie breaker to Chanute.
Lady Titan Junior, Mallory Thompson, placed first overall and Reese Grundy, senior, placed eighth.
