The Pittsburg St. Mary’s-Colgan Panthers edged the Columbus Titan Eighth Grade Squad, 2420, in their home opener, Thursday.
The Panthers built a 12-0 lead in the first quarter on a pair of touchdown passes from Gabe Brown to Max Imhof (58 yards) and Jackson Carson (70 yards).
The Titans held them on conversion points to trail 0-12 at the end of the first period.
