After a burglary in progress at a church near Melrose in Southwest Cherokee County was reported Wednesday afternoon, a Weatherford, Okla., man is in custody.
Upon their arrival at the church, deputies encountered 52-year-old Aaron Cole, who allegedly entered through a broken window.
During their investigation, Cole was reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
