The Columbus Babe Ruth 13-16 Baseball Team captured the 2026 Kansas Babe Ruth District 5 Championship, Sunday, in Parsons. The team scored 30 runs in three games and allowed nine runs on their way to the title.
The team opened with an 11-4 win in Game 2 over Humboldt. Neodesha edged Fredonia in Game 1, 6-5, Friday.
