On their first road trip of the season, the Baxter Springs Softball Lady Lions came home with a 16-5 victory over Class 4A Ft Scott.
The Lady Lions plated three runs in the opening inning. Leadoff hitter Lilly Weston received a base on balls, followed by singles for Kennedy Rhinehart, Emmalee Williams, Sidney Hailey, and Raegan Pitts.
