The Columbus Cal Ripken 8U All-Stars hosted the Kansas State Tournament, Saturday and Sunday at the Community Field Ballpark. The local All-Stars played their first game against Parsons in Game 2, Saturday, suffering a 20-14 loss. Kayson Kesinger received the WOW Award and Cruz Sharp was named the MVP for Columbus.
Briggs Johnson was named the MVP and Lucas Haviland received the WOW Award in the Game 4, elimination bout of the Kansas Cal Ripken 8U State Tournament, Saturday afternoon at the Community Field Ballpark. Frontenac was the winner of the contest, 13-6.
