Former Labette County High School and All-SEK League standout, Jake Mattox, was recently chosen as one of the few to compete with the United States Military WarDogs Baseball Team against top baseball teams in the Summer Ball Showdown in Goddard. The US Marine 1st Lieutenant is stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as an Intelligence Officer for the Marine Forces Special Operations Command.
