The Columbus Cal Ripken Rookies 8U All-Star Team are hosting the Kansas Cal Ripken 8U Rookie State Tournament, Saturday and Sunday at the Community Field Ball Park. Coaches for the team are Tim Scott, Craig Hale, Jason Johnson, and Matt Haviland. Players are middle row: Brady Hale, Cruze Sharp, Briggs Johnson, Lucas Haviland, Kolt Carter, and Jaxsyn Robinson. Front row: Trapper Clark, Conner Scott, Baylor Bowman, Kayson Sullivan, Lee Snow, and Wyatt Patton.
The 2023 Kansas Cal Ripken Rookie 8U State Tournament will be held at the Columbus Cal Ripken home complex, Saturday and Sunday.
The local all-star team will entertain teams from Frontenac, Girard, and Parsons.
Teams need to check in no later than one hour prior to the start of their first game.
All games will be played on Rockette Field at the Community Field Ballpark beginning at noon both days.
