Kyra Lacen and Blakey Hinman are ready in the field and awaiting a hit during the final weeks of the Columbus Girls Softball Tee-Ball action at the Community Field Ballpark. The girls wrap up their season next week with games on Monday and Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Sports in Kansas has released its annual list of all-state baseball player honors along with coach of the year honors. Since 2012, every KSHSAA team in Kansas is eligible for the honors, in the form of a media selection list, not to be confused with the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches list which is limited to only member coaches and their voting.
