Winners of the casting contest in the ages seven-nine-year-old age group were Kennedy Wixon, first place with a cast of 34 inches from the target. Second place went to Amellia Hudson, with a cast 57 inches from the target. Phillip Turner placed third with a cast 65 inches from the target.

The Sportsmans Association annual fishing tournament and casting contest was held September 23 at the club. Winner of the casting contest in the ages 13–16-year-old division was James Parker.
