The Columbus Titan Junior Varsity Team lost their season opener, Tuesday, at Quapaw, Okla., in a closely contested, 8-9, game.
Freshmen, Cal Saporito, Trent Lacen, and Brody Matson each took turn on the mound in the loss for the Titans.
The junior varsity teamed with the varsity squad for a home opener, double header against Parsons last night in Columbus. Scores were not availale at press time.
