Columbus Titan Freshman, Drake Laurance, outran the pack in the 2023 season opener, at the Labette County High School Cross Country Meet, Thursday, in Altamont to finish first in the boys junior varsity 5K race.
Drake completed the race in 6:23.7 minutes, seven seconds ahead of Southeast High School’s Hudson Locke who placed second with a time of 6:30.5 minutes.
