A great struggle for mothers is the disobedience of their children. In our Gospel reading, Jesus says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments”.
Your mother probably thought these words as well. “If you love me, why don’t you do what I say?” This creates a question: when I disobey, do I love my mother? As I break the Ten Commandments, do I love Jesus?
