Joseph M. Parsons, son of Rev. Gary C. and Jean D. Parsons of Columbus, has joined the United States Army. He will leave in December under the Army’s Delayed Entry Program for Ft. Benning, Ga. to attend basic and advanced individual training to become an infantryman.
