Ken Keely, a local rural mail carrier for 28 years, was elected president of the Kansas Rural Letter Carriers Association.
Approved by the Columbus City Council were annexation petitions for two homes on North Indiana. Becoming city residents were Doug and Jana Churchill, 1025 North Indiana, and Steve and Marla Tanner, 1017 North Indiana.
