As the old saying goes, “A man’s home is his castle.” According to ads like this one, on Father’s Day, he’s king. While holidays honoring fathers have been observed for hundreds of years, the first American Father’s Day, as we know it, was observed on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington.
