Two local libraries have been awarded grants from the Southeast Kansas Library System. SEKLS offers a competitive grant program annually. This year’s grant program is for collection development. Columbus Public Library has been awarded a grant of $1,250.

A special program on Dream Big Little One was presented to the Baxter Springs’ Chapter BT of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. The group met Monday, November 1 for a noon luncheon in Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church.
