Keenagers to perform Christmas concert

“Christmas Back Together Again” will be presented by the Keenagers Choir and the Parsons Community Orchestra, both under the direction of Scott Nelson. This will be the group’s first Christmas concert since the pandemic began.

CBCO Blood drive planned Monday

Saving Lives in the Ozarks is the theme for the upcoming blood drive. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will be set up in the Columbus Community Room Monday, December 12 between 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. CBCO is the exclusive provider of blood to all area hospitals.

Knife ready for Auxiliary giveaway

At the November meeting of the Mercy Auxiliary, members were told Phil Evans had completed the handcrafted knife he donated to the Auxiliary for a giveaway. Chances are a donation of $5 each or three for $12 and can be purchased at the Holiday Fair or from any auxiliary member.

Library board meeting

The Columbus Public Library held a board meeting November 14. After the meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. a motion was made by Maggie Mooney to accept the minutes from the October meeting and was seconded by Kelly Walters. The motion passed.
