Columbus Lions Club members harvested a tree for the Courthouse on Sunday afternoon. With help from the Fire Department, the tree was raised in place and decorated. Lights were strung on the tree by Lions Club members.
The Christmas season is underway with Columbus’ celebrations starting Wednesday, December 3 with the festivities beginning at 5 p.m.
Find the elf contest will be held 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Search for the elves around town. Turn in completed elf sheet at Labette Bank by 6:45 p.m. to be entered into a drawing for Chamber Bucks.
