The Helping Hand Award was presented to Carla Karsten for her efforts in helping make the Cherokee County Fair what it is. The travelling award is presented by the Clark Hall family each year to fair volunteers of merit.
The recently ended Cherokee County Fair and Reunion was reportedly the biggest and most successful in the past 50 years.
