In most contexts, to be disciplined means to be faithful to a routine or a regimen, such as a diet or an exercise routine. And while it is important to have a spiritual diet of books to read and prayers to say, and a regimen concerning when and where we pray, it is more important in the realm of the Spirit that one be committed to following the urgings of the Holy Spirit.
