Above a plate recently donated to the Columbus Museum has interesting flaw. Below, the information printed on the back of the piece has the company’s name misspelled. Often antique items can be more valuable if they contain a flaw.

This report is going to be written by this more mature (older) woman who has experienced just about everything that has happened at the museum this month.
The first part of the month the museum received a beautiful plate. As I was doing the paperwork on the plate, I noticed a flaw on it. The paperwork requires a description of each artifact. The plate was made for the Gillem’s Hat Shop in Columbus.…
