Shortly after the beginning of the new year, 2024, Galena Police officers found the body of an apparent shooting victim in an upstairs Galena apartment.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Monday, January 1, officers with the Galena Police Department were notified that a man had been shot at the Galena Estates Apartments located near East 7th Street and State Line Road in Galena.
