After several years with the Nixle Mass Notification Software company Cherokee County Emergency Management had decided to change the software provider to Genasys for the future.
However, at a recent Cherokee County Local Emergency Preparedness Committee meeting EM Directory Matt Haviland reported the County was attempting to nullify the contract and remain with Nixle system.
