Author William Stoskopf was reared on the family farm in Quaker Valley east of Columbus. Bill’s mother Sara taught history at the local high school and his dad Roy was a farmer.
Bill graduated from Columbus High School, earned his architectural degree from Kansas State University, resided in Coffeyville, then moved to Tulsa where he has lived since 1973.
