Ribbons awarded in meat goat division

  • A Quilt of Valor was presented to Sgt. Christopher Moss August 19 at the Baxter Springs American Legion. Moss served in the United States Army from 20082018. He had several duty stations, including Afghanistan for a year in Sharama driving supply trucks for route clearance, then served with the Special Forces for the rest of his tour. Courtesy photo.

    Results have been announced in the 4-H, FFA and Heritage Youth Association meat goat show. The judge was Mattie Haynes. Superintendents were Jessi Cain and Rodney Oels with committee member Albert Welch.
