Former athletes and Baxter Springs High School students sorted through the memorabilia from the past. Everyone appeared to find something that they remembered from their high school days. Much of the material was from the personal collection of baseball coach Don Karnes.
A fall and Halloween theme decorated the tables at the Chapter BT of P.E.O. International meeting at 6 p.m. October 20. The meeting was held in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church in Baxter Springs. Members were served apple pie topped with ice cream and pumpkin cake. Hostesses were Jennifer Burton and Jennifer Grant.
