Baxter Springs Band members, under the direction of Louis Morgan, performed the marches for each branch of the United States Military at the Veterans Program Saturday.
“Taps” was performed by the bugler Tom Eldridge during the Veteran’s Program in Baxter Springs.
Navy Veteran Jeremy Rivera spoke at the Veteran’s Program in Baxter Springs.
Following the annual Veteran’s Day Parade, a program honoring veterans was presented at the Veteran’s Memorial on the American Bank’s parking lot.
The Baxter Springs High School Band played the individual service marches as members of that branch of the Armed Services walked to the middle of the memorial and were recognized by the large crowd.
