- The annual Cherokee County Youth Entrepreneurship Fair was held March 5 at Baxter Springs High School. Students from Columbus, Baxter Springs, Riverton and Galena attended the event. Columbus High School students Jeremiah Palmer and Kash Spear entered their business, Fade Logic, 2k Based Barbershop.
- Columbus High School student Isaac Johnson presented his business, Johnson Crop Consulting and Land Surveying at the annual Cherokee County Youth Entrepreneurship Fair held March 5 in Baxter Springs. Johnson’s business will provide land surveying for farmers and ranchers and will give guidance on improving their land.
