The railroad crossing east of U.S. 400 east of K-7 highway at Cherokee will not be closed today as KDOT had originally released. The closure had originally been planned for last week but was postponed until Monday October 25-27.
The BNSF Railway will be working on their crossing and US 400 will be closed to traffic at the work zone. Traffic will detour on K-7, K-103 and U.S. 69.
