Columbus Titan Senior, Jett Tanner, took the mound in relief during game one and game three of the Wyandotte Baseball Festival, Thursday and Saturday, played in Seneca, Mo. The Titans came up short against Seneca in game one, 8-1, and in game three against Dibble, Okla., 5-1. When not on the mound, Jett is making catches and robbing bases in left field.

Columbus Titan Baseball participated in a pre-season festival hosted by Wyandotte, Okla. and Seneca, Mo. Teams included in the Wyandotte Festival played three games utilizing fields at Wyandotte High School and Seneca High School, Thursday through Saturday.The Titans opened against Seneca, Mo.

Ethan Midgett was recently named to the 202526 Boys Basketball All-CNC League Honorable Mention list. He was third on the team in scoring with 169 points. He was second in assists, 36, and steals, 23.Midgett was good on 54 of 132 free throw attempts for a 41 made percent.

During a morning practice, Wednesday, Jett was covering third base for team fielding drills. He will be in the starting line up for Columbus for his senior campaign.

Titans prepare for baseball festival

The Columbus Titan Baseball Team were out on Wednesday of their Spring Break to prepare for the Wyandotte Baseball Festival, yesterday, today, and tomorrow in Seneca, Mo. and Wyandotte, Okla.Columbus played Seneca, Mo. yesterday afternoon in Seneca. Scores were not available at press time.

CUHS grads off to MVP start at SSC

Former Lady Titan Kaitlyn Simpson was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week recently in her sophomore season as a member of the Seminole State Lady Trojan Softball Team.

Lady Titan Softball camp tomorrow, opener Monday

The Columbus Lady Titan Softball Team is hosting a youth camp tomorrow at the Columbus Community Field Ball Park.Student athletes ages four years to eight years will be on the diamond from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.Players ten and over will take the field from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
