CJHS 8th drops two in jamboree

The Columbus Junior High School hosted a jamboree, Saturday, at the Central School Campus. The eighth grade A team suffered a pair of losses to their guests, New Heights Christian Academy, 55-12, and Northeast-Arma, 35-27.

Natalini wins Ozark Open

Columbus Wrestler, Lucas Natalini, made a trip to Ozark, Missouri, Saturday, where he brought back first place in the ten and under, 85-pound weight class at the Ozark Youth Wrestling Open Tournament. He was the lone member of the Titan Wrestling Club participating in the event.

Jack Jesse wrestled his way to a championship at the 2025 KC Frontier Feud, Saturday, in the eight and under, 55-pound novice weight class. Bearett Bowin took second place in the eight and under, 76-pound open division.8U 76 Open Bearett Bowin placed second.

Titan Jr. Varsity handed two losses

The Columbus Titan Junior Varsity was handed two losses in their first games of the new year. Monday a trip to Girard yielded a 20-75 loss to the Trojans. Tuesday, the junior varsity combined with the C team and suffered a, 37-62, loss to Neodesha at the CUHS Gym.

CUHS JV girls back in action

The new year, 2025, has not been kind to the CUHS Lady Titan JV Team as they have played just one and one half games in nearly two weeks of school. The Friday, CNC game scheduled at Girard was moved to Monday due to weather.

Columbus 7A sweeps jamboree

The Columbus 7A Basketball Team swept their two-game jamboree, Saturday, at the Central School Round Top Gym.The Titans had nearly identical scores in their 3214 win over New Heights Christian Academy and 3314 win over Northeast-Arma.

Titans fall in back-to-back losses to kick off 2025

It has been a rough start to 2025 for the Columbus Titans as they have suffered back-to-back losses in their first games of the new year. Monday, they lost to the Girard Trojans, 41-66, in a weather delayed, CNC League match up in Girard.

Lady Titan Senior, Katy Mooney, drained seven three-pointers and made four of six attempts at the charity stripe in addition to a pair of field goals to score 29 of the 43 Columbus points in their loss to the Neodesha Lady Bluestreaks, Tuesday, at the CUHS Gymnasium.
