‘Be fabZOOlous’ blood drive Monday

You otter give blood. The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, the sole supplier of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, urges donors to help increase the blood supply during the Be fab-ZOOlous blood drive.

Columbus Public Library Hours

The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday 9 a.m-6 p.m. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 a.m. Fridays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon. Curbside service will be available upon request.

Fair Buddies is popular event at Cherokee County Fair

Fair Buddies are youngsters who are not showing at the fair teaming up with the experienced 4-H members who have shown their animals. Those winning medals are with their 4-H members Colt Gregory with Sawyer Gregory and Mya Hamilton.

Results announced in 2022 Cherokee County Dog classes

Results are in for the 2022 Cherokee County Dog events. Kayelynn Adoremos, Glittering Stones was the Pre Junior Grand Champion in Pre-Junior Fitting and Showing she also received a purple ribbon. She was the Grand Champion in Level 1 Rally Obedience.

Fiber arts, woodworking entrants receive recognition

Results are posted for the 4-H and Future Farmers of America Fiber Arts classes and the Woodworking classes. Montana Elmer, Spring Valley Sparklers, received a blue ribbon in Ethnic Fiber Arts. Hannah Helwig, Lone Elm Beavers, received a red ribbon in Patchwork and Quilting.

Clothing, textile class announces results

Results are in for the Clothing and Textiles classes. Beckett Asher, Lone Elm Beavers, received two purple ribbons and two blue ribbons. Montana Elmer, Spring Valley Sparklers, received a purple ribbon and a blue ribbon. Brynlee Ferguson, Lone Elm Beavers, received a blue ribbon.

4-H Floriculture ribbons announced

Results in the 2022 Cherokee County Fair 4-H Floriculture classes have been announced. Allison Brown, Glittering Stones, received two purple ribbons and three blue ribbons. Mya Hamilton, Shamrock, received three blue ribbons.

Style Revue Buymanship results announced

Style Revue Buymanship results for 2022 Cherokee County Fair have been announced. Beckett Asher, Lone Elm Beavers, received purple ribbons in School Clothes Boys and Western Wear Boys and a blue ribbon in Active Wear Boys.
