Results are in for market, fitting, showing rabbit classes
Results in the Market Rabbit classes have been announced. Allison Brown, Glittering Stones, was the Grand Champion rabbit in Meat Pen three rabbits. She also received a blue ribbon.

Lady Titan Senior, Addison Saporito, was a member of the first Team Kansas Squad to venture to the Texas Mid-Summer Mat Bash in Justin, Texas, July 29-31, placing second in the Gold Pool.
Annual pedal tractor pull has large number of contestants
In the four year old division at the annual pedal tractor pull first place went to Luke Holden with a distance of four feet 10 and one half inches. Second place went to Jackson Hall with a pull of 4’4’’. Third place went to Olivia Ross with 4’2”.
Lily Mooney received seven scholarships from Pittsburg State University during the Senior Awards Ceremony, May 14 prior to the CUHS graduation at the high school gymnasium. In addition to her seven Community Foundation and local scholarships, Lily earned $10,125 toward her college education.
What is coming up for the Columbus Day Festival?
A few things planned for the annual Columbus Day Festival, October 8 include:
The Car and Motorcycle Show will be on Maple St and Pennsylvania St., advance registration will be available. Classes available for all types of vehicles.
Space for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Business EXPO “Celebrate the Possibilities” to be held October 20 at the State Theatre Event Center, if filling up fast.
Set up will be Wednesday, October 19 from noon to 5 p.m. followed by a members only after hours.
