In John 9, Jesus anoints a blind man’s eyes with mud and has him wash in the pool of the Siloam which is the pool of the “Sent”. But who is sent? We might think it’s the blind man but it is not.
Jesus said, “We must work the works of him who sent me”. Jesus is the sent one. It’s really the pool of Jesus. So the blind man is washed in Jesus and sees.
