Media student received first place medal

Jennifer Pugh and Brian Hancock, media students of Norma Blankenship at Baxter High School, attended a Multimedia Fair at Galena. Brian received the first place medal for his video slideshow.
The Lion of the Month for the Columbus Lions Club during the month of March was Robert Davis, son of Pat and Linda Davis of Scammon and a senior at Columbus Unified high School.
