When Jesus says, “I Am the door of the sheep” and then again “I Am the good shepherd”, he calls himself God. The Name God revealed to Moses is Yahweh, which means “I Am.” It is as though Jesus were saying, “Yahweh, that is Jesus, is the Good Shepherd” or again “Yahweh, that is Jesus, is the door of the sheep.”
