Rockette 10U Team Classic, State champs
Local cowboy Cal Saporito, had a wild ride in the recent Columbus Saddle Club Rodeo, May 12-14, at the Saddle Club Arena. Cal was the lone bull rider from Columbus and while his ride didn’t end as he would have wanted, the Fort Scott Community College commit, will have plenty of chances as he rides with the FSCC Rodeo Team throughout their 2026-27 season. The Columbus 8U Rockettes Softball Team rallied from a game one loss to win the Chad Saporito Summer Classic Softball Tournament, Saturday and Sunday at the Community Field Ball Park.
