Titan Football sets middle school camp

The Columbus Titan Football Staff are hosting a camp for student athletes entering grades 6-8.June 23-25 at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium Field, 2026 football players will take the field from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the camp.A one-time fee of $15 per player will be taken.

Local Havoc team wins Saporito Classic

The local Havoc Softball Team swept the 12U pool play and championship bracket of the Chad Saporito Summer Classic Softball Tournament to earn the championship rings and title, Sunday morning, at Rockette Field in the Columbus Community Field Ball Park.

Free softball clinic for Tee-ball, 8U

A free girls softball skills clinic is set to begin Monday at the Columbus Community Field Ball Park. The clinic is open to all girls in the 8U and Teeball ages of league play.It will take place Mondays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and run four consecutive weeks ending July 6.

Former Lady Titans offer skills camp

Four Lady Titan Alumni and current collegiate softball players are lending their time and talents to Columbus and the surrounding towns to help grow the sport and athletes ages Tee-ball to 18 of the Southeast Kansas area in a softball skills camp, June 30 through July 2.

CUHS Alumni to play DI Softball

Columbus Lady Titan Alumni, Graci Major and Kaitlyn Simpson have signed to played softball at the next level with NCAA Division I teams.

Saporito Summer Classic tomorrow

The softball division of the 2026 Chad Saporito Summer Classic Tournament will be played tomorrow and Sunday at the Columbus Community Field Ball Park.Both softball fields will be utilized with pool games beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day and into the night Saturday.

Jr. Babe Ruth Season underway

The Columbus Junior Babe Ruth Season is already underway with six games under their belt, including a 12-3 win over Neodesha, Friday, at Bomber Field in the Community Field Ball Park.
