Columbus Central School Fourth Grader, Lee Snow, has received an invitation to participate in the 2024 USSSA All American Games following a tryout in Kansas City, May 24.Lee is one of 36 players from an 11-state, Midwest Region that will travel to Viera, Fla.

Titans sweep Rams in summer league opener

The Columbus Titan Baseball Team earned a varsity/junior varsity sweep over Riverton, Tuesday, in the Summer League opener on the road in Riverton. The Titan Varsity Squad blanked the Ram Varsity in game one of the double header, 6-0 and took the junior varsity win, 6-2 in the night cap.

CNC Teams third in state baseball finale

Frontenac and St. Mary’s-Colgan represented the CNC League in the Kansas Class 3A and 2-1A State Tournaments last week with both squads coming home third in the state.The Co-CNC League Champions won their respective regional championships to earn their spots in the state brackets.

Southeast Lancer TreySol Galindo placed sixth in pole vault and Eliz White took seventh in the 800 meter run at the Kansas Class 2A State Track and Field Meet, Friday and Saturday in Wichita.Additional state entries placed in the top 16 of their class at the meet.
