Lady Titan Head Coach Marcus Bowman and Lady Titan Senior, Addison Saporito, collected their certificates as Regional Coach of the Year and Regional Wrestler of the Year at the Kansas Class 4-3-2-1A State Tournament in Salina, Thursday, February 23.

Brooklyn Brierton, standout volleyball player for West Harrison High School in Gulfport, Mississippi has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at the college level with the Lady Cardinals at Labette Community College in Parsons.

Four remain in Class 3A Girard Girls Sub-State

Cherryvale, Galena, Frontenac, and Girard emerged as winners in the Kansas Class 3A Girard Sub-State quarterfinal round, Monday night. Number one seed, Cherryvale (17-4), breezed past the Baxter Springs Lady Lions (1-19) in the one versus eight match-up, 81-17, in Cherryvale.

CUHS Seniors recognized

Lady Titan, Claudia Paradiso, was recognized in Senior Night Ceremonies at the CUHS Gym, February 17, between the boys and girls varsity games with Galena. Claudia is a one-year member of the Lady Titan Basketball Team. She is the daughter of Angelo Paradiso and Veneranda Colonna.

Lady Titan season ends with 3A sub-state loss

The Columbus Lady Titans fell, 39-48, to the Galena Lady Bulldogs, Monday, in the opening round of post season action at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium. While the young squad was eliminated from this post season, that is not the last you will hear from this feisty team.

Lady Titan Senior, Addison Saporito and junior, Grace Noel, wrestled their way into the championship matches, Thursday, at the 2023 Class 4-3-2-1A Kansas Girls State High School Tournament and came out as State Runners-up in their respective weight classes.

Lancers number one in Erie Sub-state

The Southeast Lancers are the number one seed in the Kansas Class 2A Erie Sub-State. The 16-4, Lancers hosted the number eight seeded, Uniontown, 5-15, last night in Cherokee.
