Titan Senior, Jack Vilela had two singles and a run-batted-in and sophomore, Ethan Midgett, added a pair of singles, a walk, and a run scored as the Columbus Titans edged the Lamar, Mo. Tigers, 4-3, at Al Ortolani Field on the Pittsburg State University Campus.

The Columbus Titan 4x200 Meter Relay Team of freshman, Cole Howard, and sophomores, Levi Simpson, Drake Laurance, and Braun Stone added their name to Titan history as the first to record a time in the 800M Relay. The team placed fourth in the Carl Junction, Mo.

Lady Titan Senior, Mallory Thompson received four, I ratings in vocal and instrumental music at the Kansas State High School Activities Association’s Small Group and Individual State Competition, Saturday, in Wichita. She is being recognized as Titan of the Week.
The Columbus Junior High School Golf Team placed third in the Caney Middle School Golf Tournament, Thursday at the Caney Golf Club. Lady Titans, Cali Carpino, Fallon Smiley, and Tyler Kirk place in the top ten individually to pick up two medals at the end of the day. Carpino’s win leads CJHS Golf to third in Caney Invite

Cali Carpino, Columbus Lady Titan Eighth Grader won the girls division and tied the top medalist in the boy’s division with a score of 39 to lead the CJHS Team in the Caney Junior High Golf Tournament, Thursday, at the Caney Golf Club.

LCHS wins JV contest vs CUHS

The Columbus Junior Varsity Baseball Team lost to Labette County Tuesday night in the non-conference night cap at Bomber Field in the Community Field Ball Park, 8-3.

Lady Titan JV sweeps Galena

The Lady Titan Junior Varsity Team swept the visiting Lady Bulldogs from Galena, 9-3 and 15-7. Morgan Richards and Emma Parsons were the winning pitchers for Columbus.Galena scored all three runs in the first quarter of game one. Lead-off batter, Mackenzie New, reached first base on an error.

Lady Titan Senior, Hailey Ediger, tossed her 100th strike out of the season in the 6-3 upset win over the undefeated, Kansas Class 5A, Pittsburg Lady Purple Dragons, Tuesday, at Rockett Field in the Columbus Community Field Ball Park.
