Three Titans take first at home invite

The Columbus Titan Track and Field Team hosted the Columbus Invitational, Tuesday, at the Central School campus. Lady Titan Sophomore, Faith Williams took first place in the girls pole vault with a height of eight feet.

Jr. High seasons near completions

The Columbus Junior High Track and Field Teams and Golf Team are nearing the end of their 2025 spring seasons.The Titan and Lady Titan Track and Field Teams will be in Girard, Tuesday, for the CCCJ League Meet. Events begin at 2 p.m. May 1 is the makeup day.

Junior High girls combine for fifth

The Columbus Junior High Seventh and Eighth Grade Girls combined for fifth place overall at the Girard Invitational Track and Field Meet, Thursday. The Lady Titan Seventh Grade Team placed fourth in their division with 84.5 team points. Girard was the seventh grade winner with 95 team points.

The Columbus Junior High Golf Team had six players place in the top ten in the Galena Invitational Tournament held at the Schifferdecker Golf Course in Joplin, Mo., Thursday.

Lady Titans walk-off against Ft. Scott

A late, seventh inning, two-out, double by senior, Madisen Rand, gave the Columbus Lady Titans a walk-off win over the visiting Lady Tigers from Fort Scott, 3-2, Thursday, at the Columbus Community Field Ball Park.

Records set at Girard Invitational

Two new school records were set in the same event in two grades for the Columbus Titan Boys at the Girard Invitational Track and Field Meet, Thursday. SEK League Schools as well as those representing the CNC League competed at the large, very competitive meet.

Titans compete in 59th Garber Relays

The Columbus Titan Track Team participated in the 59th Annual Lester Garber Relays, Tuesday. Columbus placed ninth out of 13 teams from two states with 24 points scored. Senior, Brandon Stice earned the star for the day placing second in the javelin with a toss of 149 feet, one inch.

Titans Junior Varsity lost by one run in a close game one against Grove, Oklahoma Junior Varsity as time expired during the opening round of the Mickey Mantle Classic Tournament, April 10, in Miami, Oklahoma.

Epler signs to play baseball at KCKCC

Webb City Cardinal Senior, Cohen Epler signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career with Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devil Team this fall.The official signing took place at Webb City High School last fall during national signing day.
