Titan Sophomore, Mason O’Banion, placed first in the 2025 Heartland USA Boys High School National Duals over the weekend in Iowa. He is being recognized as Titan of the Week.

Track, golf start

Track and golf get underway this week for Columbus Unified High School and Columbus Junior High School.The CUHS Titan Golf Team took to the links in Miami, Okla. yesterday and will be back out Tuesday for the Frontenac Tournament at Four Oaks Golf Course in Pittsburg at 1 p.m.

Titans get come-back win over Parsons Vikings

The Columbus Titans earned their fourth win of the season in a come-frombehind, 5-2, victory over Parsons, Thursday night at the Community Field Ballpark. The win brings the early season record to 4-1.

Lady Titans split non conference home opener

Senior, Hailey Ediger, collected 13 strike outs in the Lady Titans, non conference, home opener, win over Prairie View, 6-0, Thursday, at the Columbus Community Field Ballpark. The Lady Buffalo took the night cap, 21-9.

Galena Senior, Jack Perry, was voted Kansas Class 3A co-Player of the Year by the Sports in Kansas media outlet. Jakayla Davis, St. Mary’s-Colgan Junior, was voted Kansas Class 2A Player of the Year by Sports in Kansas representing the CNC League.
